iPad Tips and Tricks
These tips will be posted by members of the Tech Team to help students manage their iPad more efficiently at home and in the classroom. Any student who has a suggestion to contribute to our tips should let a Tech Team member know and we will consider including your suggestion.
Five Basic Steps for Troubleshooting
- Check that WIFI is connected in Settings
- Be sure to log into iBoss when using the iPad at home
- Go through the campus ancillae wifi setting
- Close out of all open Apps and Websites
- Try a Hard Reset (hold down Power and Home Button)
- Ask a Tech Team Member or Techspert
- Have a problem? Use the IncidentIQ Webclip on your iPad or go to ancillae.incidentiq.com.
Did You Know...
- To take a screen shot press the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time. The picture is saved to the Screenshots album in Photos.
- Use pictures to show a teacher if you have a problem with your iPad or to save information.
- If you need to save an email but you need to compose another without deleting the first one, swipe down on the first email and it will save without being deleted.
- You can turn on your iPad by pressing the power button.
- To copy or save an image hold down your finger on the image.
- To move slides on a PowerPoint you can hold it and drag it to the desired area.
- Many of the problems on the iPad can be resolved with a hard reset.
- You can take pictures in camera using the volume buttons.
